Name: Allison Moghaddasi
Family Members: Ardeshir (husband), Nico (1-year-old son), Nox (Cat who thinks he’s a dog and greets us at the door when we come home)
Why did you join the PMC last year? I was new to Petaluma and not working. I knew I needed to get out of the house before the walls caved in on me.
What has motivated you to stay active and engaged with the PMC? The Mother’s and Father’s that I’ve met have been some of the kindest, most sincere people I have ever met.
I want to continue to be a part of such a giving and loving community and for my son to grow up knowing we are blessed to live here.
What is one thing you want people to get out of the Newsletter this year? I hope people feel a sense of community and belonging. The Newsletter should be a place where you feel you can get information not only about our group but about our community of people and voices.
If you could have any meal, what would it be and from where? Spaghetti and Meatballs that my late grandmother made. Even though I can, and often do, make the recipe for my family, it isn’t exactly the same. Plus if they were truly hers, she’d be here with us to share it.
Name: Carli Crosson

Why did you join the PMC last year? I lived in Petaluma for a few years but didn’t have any friends who were in town. I basically wanted mommy and daddy friends. I knew I would go crazy if I had a baby and felt alone.
What has motivated you to stay active and engaged with the PMC? The PMC has been wonderful for me. I have met so many amazing people that I hope are around for a very long time. I love having play dates and events with these wonderful ladies and their families. It’s not often one gets a community like this one.
What is one thing you want people to get out of the Newsletter this year? The newsletter is my small way of “giving back”. I have a certain skill set that is somewhat unique. I
hope by helping create the newsletter we can serve our little amazing community and hopefully give others what I have been fortunate to get from it.
If you could have any meal, what would it be and from where? Kyles Kielbasa, its the best

What is one thing you want people to get out of the Newsletter this year? I would love for people to utilize the event schedule and getting to know more about the women in the PMC

Name: Karli Warner
Family Members: Scotty (husband), Catalina “Cece” (15 mos), Moxie & Louie (kitties)
Why did you join the PMC last year? I heard about the group through my doctor, and having lived in Petaluma for nine years and not knowing a soul in town (I worked outside of town) I figured it would be a good way to meet other mommies.
What has motivated you to stay active and engaged with the PMC? The primary motivation for me has been Catalina. We plan to stay in Petaluma for the foreseeable future and I want her to feel a safe and warm sense of community. Also, I call myself an “extroverted introvert”, so new social situations are quite anxiety ridden for me – but I like to challenge myself to push out of my comfort zone. That said, the incredible group of women and men that I’ve met through our Club has made staying active and engaged with the PMC quite fun and effortless. I love that I’ve formed easy friendships already and am excited to continue attending new playgroups and events to meet more extraordinary women and all the sweet babes.
What is one thing you want people to get out of the Newsletter this year? Well, considering I’ve spent a lot of time on it already (lol) I hope they see the events calendar and find something that interests their family. It’s amazing the number of activities available in our ‘little’ town! I mostly and truly hope the newsletter acts as a continuation of our community and shares the diverse voices of our group. If you could have any meal, what would it be and from where? Considering I read this question as, “If you could have any meat…” I’m going to go with my husband’s bbq’d tri-tip. It’s ridiculously delicious.
Name: Katie Fleck
Family Members: Husband Brian, son Lucas and dog, Timber. Why did you join the PMC last year? I wanted to build friendships with other moms in the community and be a part of a network of support through the ups and downs
of motherhood! This is my first child and it was brand new territory for me. What has motivated you to stay active and engaged with the PMC? What motivates me to be engaged with the PMC ongoing are the quality friendships with truly intelligent, caring, fun, thoughtful, genuine and funny ladies. It has been such a joy to raise Lucas with such a great village of moms and I love seeing Lucas grow and learn with the other kiddos. What is one thing you want people to get out of the Newsletter this year? To have the newsletter be a way for PMC members to share their experience and perspectives. If you could have any meal, what would it be and from where? My cousin Faron’s Southern BBQ with friends and family while on the beach near the Great Barrier Reef. Sounds perfect!
