The Petaluma Mothers’ Club is a 501(c)(7) made up of caregivers with children through age five in Petaluma, California and surrounding cities. We provide a supportive community for one another during this stressful yet wonderful time in our lives.
The PMC offers playgroups, monthly meetings, and special family events for support, education and socializing. All the work is done by volunteers. You are invited to participate to whatever extent feels comfortable to you. Our motto is “Take what you need, give what you can.”
We don’t endorse any single theory or “right” way to parent, but exist to create an atmosphere of support and camaraderie so that each member may find what she needs to grow as a parent. We are a network of families supporting families.
Since 1992, the Petaluma Mothers’ Club exists to provide support, information, education, friendship and community to families from pregnancy to age 5.
A Note from our President
This year, we are celebrating 27 years of supporting families with children ages 0-5! Our motto of “Connect. Share. Play!” encompasses what the Petaluma Mothers’ Club has to offer for its members. Boasting almost 500 members, we have a variety of ways for families to meet and support each other in these early years of having children. As a member of the PMC, you too will be a part of our wonderful online forum and will enjoy our blog, calendar of club events, a list of local businesses who offer exclusive discounts, and much more. You will also be invited to participate in a number of active playgroups, monthly socials, holiday events, field trips, and our always popular Mom’s Night Outs. We look forward to having you as a member of the Petaluma Mothers’ Club and hope you join in on the excitement very soon! As a mom of one young child, and a non-native to Petaluma, I found much needed support in the Petaluma Mothers’ Club. I feel so fortunate to have so many amazing women in my life that I have met through this club! I love meeting new members and helping people connect, so please reach out to me with any questions, comments, or suggestions!
