A year later she left the workforce and moved to the mountains of Arnold where she got pregnant with her second child, Enzo, who was born in May 2024 after moving to Petaluma.

Jocelyn loves cooking, going to active, giants games , beer, and having a good time! She joined PMC sight unseen before moving to Petaluma and it has been an invaluable source of community and a large contributor to why she decided to settle here for the long term.

Christine Lafite

Christine LafiteTreasurer

2023, 2026 Playgroups

Christine Lafite grew up in Los Angeles and attended the University of California, Santa Barbara, originally as a Communications major with dreams of becoming a broadcast journalist. After one too many essays, however, she pivoted to Economics and Accounting, became a CPA, and launched her career in public accounting before moving to the Pacific Northwest and ultimately building her career in the Bay Area.

After returning to California from the PNW to be closer to family during the pandemic, Christine reconnected with her now-husband, Stephan, in San Francisco—a chance reunion that helped shape the life they've built together. They now call Petaluma home, where they're raising their son, Valentino, spoiling their calico cat, Paloma, and awaiting the arrival of their second child.

Today, Christine is an accounting leader at DoorDash, where she leads automation initiatives, drives process improvements, and mentors high-performing teams. Outside of work, she is the founder of The Glyph Mill, a cottage bakery specializing in hand-decorated sugar cookies.

When she's not working or baking, you'll likely find Christine at an Active Wellness workout class, trying new restaurants with Stephan, baking cookies with Val, cultivating her creative side, or dreaming up her next home improvement project (currently on hold with a new baby on the way).

Christine joined the Petaluma Mothers Club to connect with other moms and build a community. What began as a way to meet fellow parents has grown into lasting friendships, invaluable support, and a true sense of belonging. Grateful for everything the club has given her family, she looks forward to giving back as Treasurer and helping the organization continue to thrive.

During her time in San Francisco, Dachia met her husband, Mario. In October 2020, they relocated to Petaluma to be closer (but not too close!) to Mario's family in Santa Rosa. They welcomed their first daughter, Eliana, in May 2022, and their second daughter, Aysha, in July 2024.

Professionally, Dachia serves as an Assistant Principal at Petaluma High School, where she is passionate about supporting students, staff, and families. Outside of work, she enjoys working out, spending time with friends and family, wine tasting, and settling in for a good Netflix binge.

Hi, I’m Alyssa! I grew up in Livermore, CA, and met my husband, George, at Chico State over a legendary game of beer pong, if you can believe it. We welcomed our son, Mason, in 2024, and he’s kept us on our toes ever since.

I work as a tech recruiter based in San Francisco, but I’m remote most of the time, which means I get to be around for all the little Petaluma moments during the day. When I’m not working or chasing Mason around, you’ll probably find me at Active, local breweries, or catching up on trashy reality TV.

I’m so excited to be part of the PMC board and can’t wait to connect with more local families!
