Expose your toddler to the joys and diversions of surface tension, capillary action and chemical reactions!

Or in layman's terms: we will play with table-top bubbles, drop colored water out of pipettes onto absorbent paper, and create fizz by combining baking soda and vinegar.

We will gather at the picnic tables near the 11th street side of McNear Park. Kids drinks and snacks will be provided.

Registration is required: $3 for PMC members, $7 for non-members.

More details:

  • These hands-on science experiments are on loan from the Children's Museum of Sonoma and especially designed for pre-schoolers.
  • Pre-schoolers... what age is that exactly?! This event is for fun, for socialization, and for building connections between kids and parents so all ages are welcome!
  • Current health orders do not require masks or social distancing during outdoor events of this size. You are of course welcome to take extra precautions against COVID-19 and wear a mask during the event.
