Learn about the top herbs and remedies to support a strong and healthy immune system for both preventing and treating coughs, flus, and colds. Understand the basics of Holistic Medicine/Chinese Medicine’s view of how to keep the immune system strong through lifestyle and dietary choices. Learn the most important acupressure points you can use to help your child recovery quickly from colds, flus & coughs.

We will discuss herbal safety/contraindications for babies and children and well as the best form of medicine teas vs extracts vs essential oils. A handout will be given to take home with recipes and information from lecture.

Our instructor, Nicole "Nika" Fugo Zibelman, is a Licensed Acupuncturist & Herbalist (both Chinese and Western Herbs) with over 13 years of clinical experience as a specialist in Women’s Wellness & Family Care. Also a local Petaluma mom of two, Nika's first hand experience of the triumphs and challenges of pregnancy, birth, postpartum and motherhood have added a deeper layer of understanding and wisdom to her professional practice and work with women.
