The Petaluma Mothers’ Club is hosting a pottery painting party! Join us in supporting Petaluma People Services Center Senior Nutrition Programs and the Petaluma Bounty program.

Here's how it works:

  • You choose a bowl to paint for a donation of $20.00. Payment will be collected via cash or check. There will also be a QR code option.
  • You decide if you just want to keep the bowl you paint, or have it auctioned off at the November 24th Petaluma Bowl event.
  • As a “Community Artist” you get to come to the Nov. 24th event for free. Enjoy a bowl of soup, see all the beautiful bowls, and pick up or bid on your bowl.
  • Watch for your bowl and the other bowls from our party to be posted on 1000 Petaluma Bowls Facebook page.
  • Finally, know that by participating in this program at least one person was able to have access to the food they need.

About this event:

This is an awareness raising event to help address hunger in our community.  This effort directly supports PPSC’s programs that bring healthy meals to our community’s most vulnerable and food insecure individuals.  Thousands of people in Sonoma County struggle in poverty. Increasingly, more home-bound seniors are receiving a hot meal (and daily security check) every day from our Meals on Wheels program. The number of seniors, families and individuals in Petaluma who are “food insecure” is astonishing.

Join us on Nov 3rd to paint you bowl(s)... because someone you know missed a meal today.
