The Petaluma Mothers Club is partnering up with Giant Steps Therapeutic Equestrian Center to create an event where your child can interact safely with horses right here in Petaluma.
This event is designed for children aged 1-5 years old. We won't be riding the horses, but the kids will get a chance to see and perhaps pet the horses.
Additionally, we'll have an art craft, storytime, and an opportunity to make a treat for the horses.
While this is an event for kids, parents should plan on some level of adult participation.
Since we can only accommodate 10 children, we are limiting registration so that PMC members may only bring 1 guest (their child) to the event.
If you have more than one child at home that you would like to sign up for this event, please have another caregiver register themselves and the kiddo so that each child has adult supervision.
If this event has lots of interest, we'll aim to do another one with Giant Steps in the future.
There is no cost to attend, but an optional donation would be highly appreciated. Registration is required.
