The Petaluma Mothers Club is partnering up with Giant Steps Therapeutic Equestrian Center to create an event where your child can interact safely with horses right here in Petaluma.
We hosted this event in December and had so much interest that we decided to host another one in January.
This event is designed for children aged 1-5 years old. We won't be riding the horses, but the kids will get a chance to see and perhaps pet the horses.
Additionally, we'll have an art craft, storytime, and an opportunity to make a treat for the horses.
This is a RAIN OR SHINE event. Wear boots regardless of the weather.
While this is an event for kids, parents should plan on some level of adult participation. There must be one adult present for each child. So if you're bringing 2 kids, there must be 2 adults present as well.
There is a small cost to participate. This fee helps Giant Steps to cover its costs and provide the supplies for the event.
The cost is $10 for 1 child, or $15 if you're bringing siblings.
You must register online in order to attend. If the event is full, you can sign up for the waitlist.
