Please join the PMC for a beach clean-up at Doran Beach! The CoastWalk Association organizes beach clean ups throughout the year. Last year 702 lbs of trash was collected! This year we are excited that PMC families are going to head out to the beach to do our part to help our beautiful marine life flourish.
Helpful Information:
-This event takes place at Doran Beach. A valid Regional Parks pass or $10 per vehicle parking fee is required.
-Fill out the Volunteer Signup Form online. https://coastwalk.org/ccd-volunteer/
-Please select Doran Beach and fill out the necessary information.
-Please bring your own cleanup supplies! We recommend you bring a bag or bucket, some gloves (preferably reusable sturdy ones) and a trash grabber.
-Bring water and snacks! We recommend bringing a reusable water bottle to keep plastic waste down.
-Bring sun and wind protection – hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, a wind breaker or jacket.
-Wear close-toed shoes.
