  Designed for little ones ages 6 months–5 years, this fun and interactive class gives kids the chance to explore music through movement, singing, instruments, shakers, and plenty of good times. Caregivers are encouraged to join in on the fun, too!

  Get ready for a day full of festive fun at our Fall Festival & Halloween Costume Parade on Saturday, October 24, at Leghorns Park!

  This beloved annual event is one of our biggest and most exciting gatherings of the year—perfect for the whole family! Come celebrate the season with a morning packed full of activities, laughter, and community connection. The fun begins at 10:00 AM, so arrive early to enjoy all the festivities and connect with other local families in the PMC community.

  Here’s what you can look forward to:
  

  • Fall-themed crafts for kids of all ages
  • Spooky sensory tables for littles to explore 
  • Face painting to transform your little ones into anything they imagine
  • A mad scientist magic show to delight and entertain 
  • A killer raffle basket filled with fun prizes

  Community in the early weeks and months with a new baby is essential! Join us for a warm, open, and supportive mom + baby circle designed specifically for mamas with babies 6–18 months old. We’ll talk about changing identities, relationships, and navigating the joys and challenges of motherhood as our little ones grow. This gathering is led by perinatal therapist Kylie Hempy, LMFT #151283, PMH-C. Kylie is a PMC mama of four, and she’s taken her personal experiences and worked with countless new moms and couples using evidence-based tools to help families survive a season that can feel impossible.

  Moving forward, we’re splitting our Mom + Baby Circles into two groups so moms can connect with others in a similar stage of motherhood. This group is for mamas with babies 6–18 months old, while our second group is for mamas with babies under 6 months old.

  This is a wonderful opportunity to connect with other moms, share experiences, and build community. Coffee will be provided!

  "A time of Bats and Broomsticks, Blood and Bugs - and of course, Downtown Petaluma’s Safe “Trick or Treat Trail” with the downtown Merchants! 

  Parents - gather your little ghosts, goblins, monsters, Harry Potters, witches on broomsticks, and princesses, and join the participating downtown merchants for the Annual Trick or Treat Trail this Halloween, Saturday, October 31 ~ from 3pm-5:30pm!

  Download the Trick or Treat Trail Map for a list of participating locations on Kentucky St, 4th St, Western Ave, Petaluma Blvd, 2nd St, “C” St, Theater District, and the River Plaza Shopping Center. Participating businesses will be handing out Halloween goodies to costumed children!

  Participating merchants will have signage placed outside their stores and noted on the map.
  The Trick or Treat Trail Map will be available the week of the event on this page, or pick up from the Petaluma Visitors Center (hours on VisitPetaluma.com), or the Petaluma Museum (hours on PetalumaMuseum.com).

Little ones will explore age-appropriate gymnastics activities, obstacle courses, movement stations, music, and games designed to build coordination, strength, balance, early motor skills, and body awareness.

  Whether your little one is still crawling or confidently taking their first steps, this class encourages them to explore new movements and begin developing entry-level gymnastics skills in a fun, engaging environment.   Please join us for a fun and free evening workout at Orangetheory Fitness! The class will start at 6 pm, but please arrive at 5:45 to get set up with your heart rate monitor. 

  Class will be followed by a "no shower happy hour" with light beverages and a chance to connect with other moms. If more than 20 members attend, Orangetheory will be raffling a pack of classes. :)

  More about the class: Orangetheory workouts include cardio and strength exercises with the goal of hitting five different target heart rate zones. The goal is to work in *your* body's optimal heart rate zones. All levels and experiences are welcome.

  Every other month, we host a Member Social for current and prospective PMC members. It’s a great opportunity to meet other parents and kids, explore a local spot in Petaluma, and learn more about the programs PMC offers.

  Join us for our next Member Social on Saturday, November 14th from 10am–12pm at Kenilworth Teen Center and Park in Petaluma!

  This social will also include a Book & Toy Swap! With the holidays just around the corner, it’s a fun opportunity to clear out gently used items your kids have outgrown and maybe find something new for them to enjoy. Bring 1–4 books or toys in good condition and leave with new-to-you items for your kids!
