Families Supporting Families for 30 years!

The Petaluma Mothers Club offers support, education, friendship and an inclusive community for our members. The Petaluma Mothers Club is a volunteer-run non-profit organization made up of caregivers with children through age five in Petaluma, California and surrounding cities. Since 1992, we have provided a supportive community for one another during this stressful yet wonderful time in our lives. We offer connections and activities for the whole family.

Join on us for a special PMC demo class with Luma Littles on Tuesday, September 8th at 10:30 AM!

Luma Littles is a caregiver-and-child play class designed for kiddos 6 months to 3+ years, blending music, movement, early literacy, sensory exploration, and play-based learning. Through engaging, developmentally appropriate activities, children will have opportunities to build communication, social-emotional, motor, and early cognitive skills while caregivers learn simple strategies to support their child’s development at home.

The class is facilitated by pediatric speech-language pathologist and early intervention specialist, Josie Lochrie. She brings a wealth of expertise to every playful interaction. While Luma Littles is not intended to be a therapeutic class, families will benefit from the provider’s deep understanding of early childhood development.

Come play, connect, learn, and spend a fun morning together with your little one! This special demo is exclusively for PMC families.

"Enjoy music, food and kids' activities while growing connection at Gather Petaluma - a brand new community space.

    What is Gather Petaluma?

We're building a new nonsectarian Community Hub on 5 acres in West Petaluma! This will be a third space for Petaluma to gather, heal, connect, and get involved. Meeting rooms, a gorgeous sanctuary, welcoming outdoor spaces, all of it built for this community, by this community. We're partnering with organizations like Blue Zones, Mothers Care, Good Grief, and ReLeaf to bring yoga, breathwork, music, cooking classes, and support groups for everything from new parenthood to menopause right here to Petaluma.

This is the first of many gatherings. Walk the campus, listen to live music, grab a bite, let the kids run around and share with us what you want this space to become. What would bring you back? What's missing in Petaluma that belongs here? Your ideas will help shape the programs, classes, and gatherings we build next.

Come see it. Come dream with us."

Join us for a special PMC-exclusive Family Swim at La Petite Baleen! This is a wonderful opportunity for families to enjoy the pool together in a safe, welcoming environment while helping little ones build confidence in the water through play.

During Family Swim, a Water Watcher will be stationed on the pool deck to help monitor the pool, and an Advice Teacher will be in the water to offer guidance, answer questions, and share helpful swim tips with parents as your children explore the water. Families will also have access to goggles, fins, tubes, toys, and other fun pool equipment to make the experience even more enjoyable.

    Family Swim Guidelines:
    • An adult must be in the water with all swimmers at all times.
    • One adult may supervise up to two children.
    • Maximum of two adults per family.
    • Swimmers under age 3 must wear a reusable swim diaper. La Petite Baleen recommends the Happy Nappy swim diaper, available on Amazon and at La Petite Baleen.

Whether your child is brand new to the water or already loves to swim, this is a fantastic chance to practice water skills, play together, and get to know other PMC families. Space is limited, so be sure to reserve your spot early!
